2019 Spring Fashion Trends with Hilton Hollis

spring is in the air and all over the runways from New York to Paris we've been getting a glimpse of the season's soon-to-be hottest trans here to give us his top four looks to line in your closet is fashion expert and designer and our friend Hilton Hollis welcome

back we're in town and coming on the show because we we want to know what the latest trends are but also we want to see if there are things that we can actually work in our own closet they are we talked about this earlier you have some polka

dot shorts in your closet that you're gonna have in our resurgence there and we're going to show you ways that you can reinvent those polka dot shorts that you have and let's start off with our first trend we have something straight off the runway when you're talking about

kind of what's hot right now what we're saying dive into this particular look a little bit so the whole idea of the bohemian lifestyle very earthy crunchy things that you would wear as a hippie in California and you're a flower child and you've got this beautiful floral motifs

head to toe the way that we've realized the look today is a really approachable and it's something that you can wear here in Atlanta and you won't look like you're wearing a costume it'll just look really fabulous like you're on the way to the beach it's great maybe

Mexico next week Hanna is wearing this beautiful suit Pro tunic top and we paired it with a white boyfriend jean with a fringe around the bottom these beautiful little suede shoes she's got on this Eugenia Kim hat that's fabulous it says of law on the bottom the back

of it I just love the whole look together and I love this peach that pops on that blue color yeah and on a blonde it's so beautiful but on any skin tone these colors really really work yes it looks great and actually it looks effortless it doesn't look

like she's trying too hard like so put it easy it's a way to see the trend in an easy way absolutely all right thank you so much now let's talk about our second trend you like to call down-to-earth right so cream khaki tan all in the same look

so monochromatic shades of cream tan white you can pop it with a little color if you want and when we see our model I'll show you how I just pop just the slightest a little bit of color in there but I love this trend I love head-to-toe like

neutral it is so chic and classy and elegant and come on out you look and Brandie here we are wearing one of my suits which is our just an ultimate cream power suit love the seaming details on this suit and we've paired it back to this tan top

underneath and just that slightest little bit of hint of color on the turquoise on the bag which I absolutely love and then she's wearing a shoe that is like the sock trend it's that knitted kind of boot which I absolutely love and then she's got on these fabulous

diamond earrings which I absolutely love from Lily Porter here in Atlanta Sarah it's awesome beautiful beautiful jewelry and I love that this morning she sent me a text it's like her first foray into color yes you mo yeah beautiful thank you Brandi so much I love that whole

way and also along gates you I feel like when you're wearing absolutely that seaming detail yes and all of us of the seaming and the seaming yes I love that on the side okay this next one polka dots are back so yes polka dots we talked about this

earlier you said you had a pair of Jawad polka dot shorts in your closet right keep them yeah he's them and reinvent them in a beautiful way so I love the idea of mixing and matching the different scales of polka dot even different colors you might have a

white and red you might have a black and white so just the different scales and even just tying like a polka dot scarf on a bag that's another trim we're gonna talk about later time something on to a bag just to give it that little pop of trends

you don't have to be head-to-toe polka dot but the white we show showing it today it's head to toe and it's done in a very sophisticated way that I think is very easy and approachable for any woman yeah so the smaller scale polka dot on the bottom the

black background with the white dot and then she's got on this amazing Crosbie top that has like the larger scale polka dot which i think is really pretty and then we've created with a black and white stripe bag I just think it's really fine and Sarah is so

good at putting looks together and she helped me with these yesterday we really had a lot of fun doing these I love it has Sarah's signature mark on it it really does these women are wearing these clothes so beautifully and right really what it's all about feeling confident

and beautiful absolutely thank you so much in this last trend tell me about this one taking a peek from the side it's some sort of just the beautiful celebration when it comes to like now summertime yes and scarves are easily worn a lot of different ways so you

can use them as head wraps you can use them as belts you can use them tied on a bag like I've talked about earlier so the next model is wearing this amazing head wrap that we just did I mean it literally took us five minutes to do it

in this studio actually Brandi one of the models she did it for us and anyway she's wearing this illa Johnson dress which is absolutely fabulous with the lab Mae in it she's got this great little wicker bag just perfect for summer the neutral shoe and then the head

wrap Wow now you can put this head wrap with anything in your wardrobe it just depends on the coloration of the scarf but you can go on YouTube and you can see videos of how to do this head right type thing or you can just tie it in

the back and let it kind of trail behind you but this would look great on you especially where your trip to Mexico I have some amazed scarves one two that my mother gave me they were given to her and and they're collecting just right now I think a

lot of people have scars and they just don't know what to do with them because they're kind of hard to like you know tie around your neck sometimes but this is a way that you can wear them and modernize them and I think that's really important just taking

classics and modernizing them ladies come on out for one last look just absolutely stunning come on girls and and once again we can find all of your fashions online right right online and it sees here in Atlanta yeah all over Instagram Facebook you name it we're there thank

you for inspiring us and getting us so excited about springtime ladies you look amazing once again it's Hilton Hollis calm Thank You Hilton thank you

Plus Size Fashion Trends to Try™ – April 2015 – Spring Fashion Trends

Hello my Fabulous Fashionistas! How areyou guys? Today is all about Spring Fashion Trends girlfriend.

And with my Monthly Trends to try video, this gives you a monthly little refresheron something that you can go pick up, something that you can start rocking to be fashion-forward and super trendy andI've got some great picks for you guys today.

So I'm superexcited.

But as always before we get into the trend, just so youknow conversation, links and little goodyextras are all on my website.

So the link to my website is above in theinfo circle or below in the infobox.

So make sure you pop over there andcheck out what's the latest and new over there too.

Alright are youguys ready for some spring trends? trend.

.

if I can say it! Spring trends.

Let's get on to the trendsgirlfriends.

So first thing I want to feature for theprint for the month is Florals.

They'reeverywhere but I really love the florals this seasonbecause they're super bright and fun.

This particular one I foundfrom Asos Curve Check this out! It is a gorgeous unique (oh my gosh!) amazing Kimono Sleeve Maxi Dress and it's in this really funfloral print.

How gorgeous is this? What I love is thatit's white and its fresh.

Yet we have some color and we have someflowers and the silhouette is so chic.

Honestly, for Plus Size Fashion this is amazing.

I saw it and I was like Holy Moly! So this is definitely on my list.

Ireally wanna see what it looks like on.

The higher neckline might be a littlechallenge with my larger bustline but honestly this is smokin.

Love it! So this is definitely my featurefor Prints.

Next up is Shoes! Love shoes.

This month I am featuringsomething from or a pair I should say from Torrid.

Check this out! These aredefinitely Seventies Inspired which is super hot right now.

These are what they call the Color BlockLinen Wedges.

and they are so cute.

I love the colorsare super classic, super timeless.

They can be paired literally withanything because they are so neutral but they are so stinkincute.

And honestly with the height that youget from the wedge and the platform, they're great for your seventies inspired like a bell bottom, like flare jeans.

But even can be worn with a cute skirtor dress.

I just oh my gosh I love these.

So theseare definitely on my list.

My next must have for the month is Pants.

So let's talk about these Palazzo Pants girlfriends.

They are so cute.

These are from Asos Curve.

And what I love about them is that theysay that they're tailored but they do look tailored.

Like they look really cleanand crisp.

And to me, I don't know I love that youcan purchase them with this matching vest.

I think it looks so retro and so fun butwhat I love the most is this would be a great alternative for like going to a wedding or like a more formallike you know kinda dinner thing like that super formal but it's just it's got areally classy look to it but it's not like super dressy so and it's something that you can alsopair down I don't know I just I love this freakin pants.

So these are definitely on my must have list.

Going with the retro theme this has been something I've beenlooking for personally for quite a long time so when I saw this I was like Ahh.

.

This is definitely on my must haves.

So this is actually from Lane Bryant.

Itis just a simple button down blouse.

But it is sleeveless and it's what theycall their perfect shirt which I love.

The tailoring on them is great.

Theycome in two colors.

So I see.

.

Sometimes they changehonestly by day.

You know whether they get more stock orless stock or whatever but they I just think this encompasses sucha classic look.

It's so clean.

It can be paired with so many differentthings and even worn sleeveless it's so cute so thisis definitely a must haves for tops.

So let's talk color.

I am literally like two seconds from bolting up that door and running over toTorrid cause girlfriend this is so cute.

So this is the I think it .

.

.

.

well, here I'll show you.

With the roosh sleeve blazer, this pink is so chic.

It's light, it's airy, it's so feminine but it has the perfect pin point right there at the waistlineand look how cute this is with this little skirt and oh my gosh I am dying over this so as we know every Spring pastels are always in.

Ive seen this blush in a lot of places so this is definitely like this is itlike seriously like a must have right now.

So I think I'm gonna run out and goes to that one.

And lastly I have hair and my hair focus is notactually a styling tip cause you know Spring sometimes you just want something different like something new So we're talking cuts today.

My cut feature is the longer Bob.

And I have three pictures herethat I'll show you.

So between the three of them, they're allvery sleek, they all look very I don't know very feminine but you know kind of powerful and most of them that I've seen are straightened so they're very smooth but oh my gosh I just I love these.

I think they're so fun and actually personally I am actually growing my hair out right now to be a littlelonger so that I can rock a long a longer bob too.

Cause I did have one lastyear and then I kept cutting it shorter and so youknow what change is good so we're going back for the longerbob.

But I think it's just I don't know it's very feminine.

It's very powerful.

You canstill do things with your hair as long enough you know.

You can put it up or curl it but yeah absolutely loving it so if you'relooking for new inspiration for hair go for longer Bob.

So I hope you guys enjoyed this trends to try video.

I love doingthese.

So these are gonna be my monthly must haves, my it lists.

I do have my MFSmust haves list and I think these are gonna be startingto be added to it cause I just.

.

.

there are just certain things everymonth that I like I have to have my hands on these.

So I wantto start sharing them with you guys.

So THUMBS UP (Thumbs Up!) for Plus Size Fashion for trends to try, for seasonalthings to go check out I think they're fun.

So I hope you guys are doing fabulous asalways and before I go, I want.

.

Fashion Design A Collection 3 – Spring 2020 – NylonSwatch

So as I was saying in the last video, there's this technique that I thought of in my head that I want to try.

It's yarn, fiber, and stitch development.

Because this is a seven gauge machine I wantedto come up with a way to create volume in a yarn that was too fine to knit onits own on this machine.

But I don't want to ply it up because that can get reallydense which isn't good for spring.

I don't know if it's going to work or lookgood but this is part of the process.

So one of the techniques that I wanted totry was to take a really fine yarn.

This is like a nylon clear.

It's kind of likea fish line kind of yarn.

It's so thin and you can't knit this by itself on aseven gauge machine.

So I was trying to chain link it which is kind of likecrochet.

It's kind of like doing a little crochet hooks.

I have a hook and I'm justdoing basically loops and when you do a loop you kind of triple-ply up the yarnwhen you do these loops.

I wanted to see if I could make basically this chainlink yarn and then knit that because it just kind of bulks it up a little bitand creates a little bit more volume.

But I'm not really loving this and it'slooking.

It's looking okay actually but it's it's taking forever and you barelyget anything linked out of it.

It's a really tiny piece of yarn so that wasthe first thing I wanted to try.

That's pretty quick and I think thatthat's a pretty failed technique.

So moving on to the next idea I have.

Thenext thing that I wanted to try with this yarn was to actually knit it firstin a tubular form and then knit that tube.

So I was gonna just first try to knit it.

Let's just see how it comes out in like tube form.

And when I say tube, I kind of mean like, or chain.

This one is a really good example of like of achain fiber that's it's kind of been linked.

You can see the original fiber isquite thin and it's kind of like linked or knitted into like a tube to make it achunkier yarn.

I'm doing two needles on the top edge two needles in the bottombed to create a circle so it looks like circular knitting.

And then it's justgonna create this really thin tube which would hopefully be a thicker fiber thanjust this single ply thread.

This is really hard to cast on because it's sotiny.

I'm not sure what's happening.

Okay and then wejust move through.

So let's see.

This is interesting.

Alright, this is going to take me a little while to create this whole Ooh, I'm actually excited.

Ooh, that looks really nice.

I'm really excited about this.

This is going to take me a little bit of time to knitenough to make a swatch so I'll come back at you in like thirty minutes or anhour.

Because I'm really liking this so I think once I have some like a seriouslong piece of thread then we can reknit it on the machine.

So I'll see you in asecond.

Okay so I've gotten my new yarn here that I made that's a lot thickernow after knitting it into a thicker fiber basically.

And so I'm just going totake out the thin fiber.

This is the fiber that I was using.

It's super thin.

So take it off the machine.

I'm gonna put this on.

I just need cuz it's prettylabor-intensive and time-consuming, I just made this small little ball just totry.

So we're just gonna knit a jersey stitch.

Just a little probably like asquare like this.

Just to see how it looks.

Just for fun.

Okay and, here's myfinished swatch.

It's really gonna roll a lot but it's very white.

I don't know if Ilike.

It's just kind of white.

I was hoping it would be more see-through thanit is.

But you don't know until you try these things.

Yeah I have tothink about it.

It's okay but I think and it's also really labor-intensive becauseyou obviously knit the yarn first and then you knit the fabric.

So it's notreally realistic when it comes to doing this for a collection.

But it wassomething I was interested in trying because I end up getting a lot of yarns that are too fine for this machine.

But yeah Idon't think it's worth trying to ply it up in this way.

Just plying it uplike normally is fine where you take you know maybe three combs you take threeone two three and you knit these all at the same time.

That is the normal ply upand that's fine because then you just stick it in and you just knit it andthere's no extra work.

But the whole knitting the fiber in a tubular formit's really labor-intensive and it's probably not worth it.

And this justvisually didn't come out the way I thought.

This is very white and it's notlike I said it's not as like see-through or clear as I would have liked it to beor as I don't know voluminous.

It kind of gets really cramped in there and itjust turns more like a solid white so anyway we'll keep moving on withdevelopment looking for yarns that are already good the way they are.

That theycan just be immediately knit on the machine.

It's better for productionanyway.

Thanks for watching.

Let me know down below in the comments what youthink of my yarn development.

A lot of my development is like this.

It's kind oftechnical where I'm either like figuring out a stitch.

I might do a stitch nextthere's a stitch that I want to do so I might do that like tomorrow or somethingand do a video.

Let me know down below how you feel about the development andif you're working on any development yourself let me know.

And subscribe 🙂 Bye.

Find the perfect spring break fashion for the whole family

it's time to get ready for spring break so today making score far from Deborah Blaine is here to show off some of the really great looks for families and I like the trend of like the Mommy and Me dressing that's fun yes that is a big trend we

have some Mommy and Me dresses over here cover-ups kind of anything to match your little mini me on vacation which is awesome before we get started into the looks so tell me a little bit about Duffield lane yeah so we were founded our founder Jamie Duffield she grew

up kind of around the water in both Michigan and on the East Coast so she wanted a clothing line that you could wear that's kind of nautical that you can take to the beach kind of have all those different lifestyles right and that it's functional as well yeah

from beach to whatever you need to do after that right yeah we're gonna start here on this end with the cute stripes yes so this is our Mommy and Me dresses so as you can see here we have the mommy version as well as the mini-me version of

our little ladies is what we like to call it these ones are identical but then what we also try to do is have some options if you don't want to be identical if your little girl doesn't want to my match mom completely you can still complement each other

and look great in some family photos as well and then when you're at the beach of course you always need a little cover-up right yes so these are actually brand new for us this year we did a cover-up line in our resort collection so yeah these are some

nice lightweight cover-ups that you can just throw on to the beach but then they're still nice enough to wear out I love the fringe at the bottom yes that's what really makes this look yeah that's a fun little detail that we have on there and then of course

sometimes you just want to have your own style right yes absolutely so for if you don't want the mommy-and-me trend these ones are great this is just a nice tank top with this detail here along the neckline once again really lightweight so when you're on vacation easy to

throw on but I'm gonna remove this one because I really think that this is a fun little look here with the assets yeah one of the collar I love the collar on it yeah a little ruffled collar and especially when it's a little bit chilly on vacation or

even if you want to wear this right now in Michigan's getting a little bit warmer yeah and yet it looks springy with the navy blue stripe yes is that okay and you can't leave out the shoes yes the shoes so this is unique to our gaslight village location

so we are located in East Grand Rapids we have some mommy-and-me shoes over there as well as some earrings and then speech bags right I know you can I love the pom-poms on this that makes what makes it so much fun and the Kuril again it's a big

hot color this year yes that is a big trend right now it's fun little pop when you're sick of being cold in the wintertime get some bright pink in there so tell me what makes Duffield Lane products so unique because people could choose to go to many different

retailers yeah so are all of our knits are actually made in Peru so they're very comfortable they're gonna be super durable which is really unique so once you purchase this it's something that you can wear for years on end and we try to make really classic styles so

I mean a navy and white stripe will probably never be out of style so we try to make stuff that's really versatile yeah and the quality too is really soft and it has a little bit of that stretch in it which you know everybody is loving it today's

just makes it comfortable almost like you're wearing your pajamas 24/7 which is awesome yeah and so you mentioned The Gaslight Village location but there's other locations yes so we are actually in over 300 boutiques across the country so if you do forget something and go on spring break

you'll probably be able to find us in Florida along the east coast kind of all over the country we have our product in different boutiques I think that's one of the neat things to remind our viewers is that people think of definitely as being a local boutique which

it is yes but it really has expanded throughout the country where people are getting to know that name yes definitely and you can also shop us online as well we do have our own online site Delphine comm so kind of in all the different areas all right well

thank you so much for stopping by showing us what's new for spring break or really any time of the spring season that we are finally entering into we've put of course more information on our website 13 on your side dock

The Shifting Shape of Fashion | Nordstrom Live Spring 2019

Your guys' energy is incredible.

I feel like I was tired and then I heard somebodyyell, “Nordstrom Live!” And now I'm awake, and so, if I look crazy, it's because I'm energized.

How's everybody doing? Day 2? OK, so without further ado, I would like tointroduce you to our panelists, because we have such great people here today to talkabout size inclusion in fashion.

Starting with Nicolette Mason, who is a cofounderof Premme, one of the real originals.

Next is Tanya Taylor, a Canadian friend ofmine designer who is also somebody at the forefront of size inclusion in fashion.

We also have Patrick Herning, who as you heard, just did an incredible show for his brand, 11 Honoré.

And the one and only Pamela Lopez from Nordstrom, who is your host for the day.

We started working on this initiative forsize inclusivity about 3 years ago.

And it started with the launch of the GoodAmerican brand.

So you guys all know that the size range iszero to 24.

And we learned very quickly that the best-sellingsizes were the zeros, the 16s, and the 18s.

And our head of Women's was just like, “Wehave an opportunity to serve customers better if we just had more sizes in the brands thatthey love.

” From there, the team went to some of our bestbrands and just asked them to make more sizes.

You make that sound really easy.

It was super-hard work, for sure.

For the rest of us up here, I don't thinkit was an easy journey for anybody–right?–and so how did each of you get to the spot whereyou were providing products to customers? Tanya, for extending sizes, Nicolette, movinginto product, Patrick, changing careers and launching a platform.

What put you over the edge to take that step? So much of the frustration was every timethere was a new launch, larger women would say, “I”m still excluded from this.

I still can't participate.

And I want to be able to participate and celebratefashion and feel empowered and good about myself in the same way as my peers.

” When we launched Premme it really came outof a need that we've been in the space for a long time.

We're both plus-size women.

And we felt like there were still not manybrands speaking to the Millennial, young, plus-size woman who wants to be on-trend, wants cool clothes.

And so we were like, “Fuck it.

Let's just do it ourselves.

” Can we say “fuck”? I love saying “fuck, ” so .

.

.

I say that alot.

I'm not going to say it.

For us, what was most important is providingthe exact same option, so you know, when we carry Tanya Taylor, we carry size 20s, butNordstrom can carry the exact same size in a size 2.

And, look, “plus” is polarizing.

There's a lot about this customer, but whatI've ultimately learned at the end of the day, is she is just a customer.

She wants the same options as her straight-sizecounterparts.

She wants fashion.

She wants quality.

She wants value.

And she just wants to have a seat at the tablelike everybody else.

So we can absolutely overthink it , but atthe end of the day, she just wants what everybody else has.

For you guys, what was the hardest part ofexpanding sizes? For us, it was the fit.

We take fit so seriously.

And it was a whole different process.

So we fit on a size 4 when we do zero through12, and then we started fitting on a size 18 to do size 14 to 22.

And it was finding a fit model, because surprisinglythere weren't a lot of fit models that were fitting for feminine, advanced, contemporarybrands.

There was a lot that were doing swimwear ordenim.

And understanding that kind of nuances andthe taste level there.

And then having your tech team of two peoplefocus on two different cut tickets and products and working with your factories to be ableto produce almost two different things.

And we always see it as the exact same style;we don't even change very much.

But it's really owning those relationshipswith your factories and sharing with them what your growth strategy is with those sizes, so that they really get behind it.

You know, we made several commitments to ourcustomer, the first one being while the industry is catching up, we will absolutely have priceconsistency, so if you're at Nordstrom, right, and you see an Adam Lippes dress for a thousanddollars in a size 2, you're going to see that same dress at 11 Honoré in a size 20 at thesame price.

And then the second thing we do is, for brandsthat are really struggling, that we are committed to and really believe in, that will be a leaderin their category and other brands will follow, we actually pay for the production.

So we've actually provided the consultancythat has allowed those brands to enter in the plus market and pay for that completely.

It really does feel like today, when you arebehind a brand and you decide to do an initiative like this, there's a lot of good, but there'salso a lot of bad.

What is some of the feedback that you guyshave heard that you intend to work on, and how do you deal with those comments afterputting your heart and soul and your checks behind this work? There are inherent challenges with designersextending their sizing, and when we set out to do what we were doing, 95% of our brandswent from zero to 10.

What we asked them to do was to go from a10 to a 20, so essentially doubling their size run.

Our biggest challenge has been getting tothat 24 mark, because that seems to be the magic number in terms of what the communityexpects at a minimum in terms of being a plus provider.

And that's something that we're adamantlypursuing on a season-by-season basis.

Yeah, I mean, for us it was really importantfor us to come out of the gate with an extended run in plus sizes.

So if our core was always going to be on theplus-size consumer, it wasn't enough for us to go from 14 to 24, which is kind of thestandard in the plus-size market.

We really want to have a true extended-sizerun, so we launched with the 12 to 30, which is a huge undertaking for a brand as smallas ours.

We've only been in business now a year anda half.

And it was just really crucial to us.

What's the business opportunity? I think, you know, coming from a finance background, there's just a really clear strategy, and I love to talk about that.

Like 15% of our e-comm inventory is extendedsizing, but it accounts for almost 30% of our sales.

So it's like, OK, that imbalance is that there'sclearly an appetite.

There's an excitement for it.

And I think that that sometimes makes peoplereally realize that there needs to be more options, as well.

Even though 68% of women in America are plussize, only 17% of the consumer spend in women's apparel accounts for plus-size fashion.

That is how underserved she is.

I wanted to talk about how you've decidedto merchandise the plus sizes.

Not only was it important to bring in moresizes; it was important to change the shopping experience, and for us to reflect the communitythat we're serving, for us to really reflect the customer we're serving.

So our visual team was amazing and workedreally hard on bringing in multisize mannequins, and we try really hard to group them togetherso it's a 2, and 8, a 12, and an 18, so friends can shop together.

It's an equation that's really just aboutbeing thoughtful.

One of the disconnects for e-comm especiallyis that for plus categories, a lot of e-comm models tend to be smaller than the size runthey're selling.

And that was something that we've heard againfrom our community, from our customers, from our peers for so long.

It's like, “Why am I looking at a 14-sizegarment on a model who's a size 8? I'm never going to know what that's goingto look like on my body.

” And so we made a commitment to shoot all ofour samples on a range of models.

And it seems simple, but it is so empoweringfor someone to see themselves, especially when they're not used to seeing themselvesreflected in media.

It's really transformative! And we just knew that had to be part of ourcommunications and our marketing strategy out of the gate.

OK, so what have each of you learned fromthis process about speaking to the customer that these guys can take back to apply totheir work and their lives? I think that we've really embraced havinga super-honest and super-open conversation with our community and asking questions aboutwhat styles they're missing, what they're looking for, what body parts they want toaccentuate, and really start designing around that.

And you kind of look at it as maybe some ofthese fashion shapes that we're all into, like big puff sleeves, like, you know, short, sheer dresses, they're never had access to in a size 18 or 20.

So giving them confidence to try those pieces.

I want to end on a question that I alwayslike to ask people, which is, How do you feel about where we are and where we're going? What still needs to be done? Yeah, I think pushing the envelope harderon diversity and inclusion.

I think that there needs to be more skin tonesrepresented, there needs to be different abilities represented, more variation in gender expression.

We are so at the tip of the iceberg when itcomes to this conversation around inclusivity and diversity, and I'm really excited thatwe're having a conversation about size, but there's just so many different places wherethere really needs to be true, authentic representation.

I think some of the most exciting conversationswe've had are when we've had a conference call with an Aidy Bryant or Chrissy Metz.

And we're like, “What do you want to feellike on the red carpet?” And Aidy Bryant's like, “Well, I want to feellike candy.

” And I'm like, “OK.

Like, we'll start with embroidery that feelslike candy.

We'll give you this, like .

.

.

” Like, it'sjust, she wants to look like herself.

She wants to feel amazing.

Same with Chrissy Metz.

She's like, “I want massive red sleeves withbeads and off the shoulder.

” And it is so refreshing to hear that, andyou come off a call like that and you're like, “This is wicked.

” Like, there's no difference in how you designfor that size vs.

a size 4.

One of our models that is actually an investorand a huge brand supporter, [inaudible] husband, said this about the show.

He said, “Your show was 10 years in the making.

” And what he meant by that is, the models onthe runway—you, Nicolette, Gabby, Tass, people who were in the front row—they ledthe charge for the conversations that are taking place today.

So why Tanya's able to enter the market, whya company like 11 Honoré exists, really is a testament to women like Nicolette and Laurenfighting the fight before it was a movement, before it was on trend.

And at the end of the day, if you think ofhow many brands are in the retail ecosystem, how many retailers are out there, it's reallyjust Nordstrom and 11 Honoré that have made this commitment.

So yes, absolutely, I think we're at the verybeginning, because if you think of the overall brand landscape, there's so much more workthat has to get done.

I mean, there's a long way to go, but I'mreally excited that we have brands like Premme, like Tanya Taylor, 11 Honoré, Nordstrom, leading part of that conversation.

I cannot wait for Henning to launch this fall—that'sLauren's brand.

And we really just need the same options anddiversity of brands and market offerings available for the size 12 customer as we do for zeroto 12.

That's it.

Totally agree, and Trish's vision is thatthe entire store is just going to be full size range, that it's just going to be thenorm.

And we're so at the beginning.

So get yourpopcorn, get your chips, get ready you're going to be here for a while.

So I'm goingto start with the boring stuff forever 21 where you at though? When I placed this order I was going for the hair tied chilling with no makeup on vibe.

Becausewhen you open my closet it just looks like I go partying every day.

It lookslike my life is super lit and it's not so I just needed more loungewear.

Firstup I got this ribbed v-neck bodysuit.

It's just a ribbed v-neck bodysuit.

It comes with a super-deep in the front.

It has long sleeves and thebottom of it is a snap closure I ordered this in a size medium because thesmall was sold out and that was a huge mistake because I cannot fit this mylittle boobies are just hanging out there so if you want a shirt come hollaat your girl okay.

yeah I picked this up in the size medium and it was 11euros.

the next top that I got is this taken graphic halter crop top.

it's aknit crop top with a self tying halter on the back the front it says taken withthis cute little heart on this.

I picked this up in a size small and it was 8euros.

Next I got this stay humble tee.

Just to remind myself and other people tostay humble.

Sometimes I want to go full Kendrick Lamar and tell them B***H behumble but I got the shirt instead it's a knit boxy tee with stay humble on thefront of it.

I picked this up in a size small and it was 11 euros.

Next I picked upthis Not.

Now.

Bye.

tee because this is totally my mood.

like I'm always like byebut don't talk to me.

It's just a knit shirt with short sleeves.

The Not.

Now.

Bye.

is in red, but you can see that I wish it was a little longer I pickedthis up in the size small and it was 16 euros.

Next I picked up his wild honeygraphic tee.

it's a knit ringer graphic teewith yellow trim on it this is so cute I feel like the yellowon the trim is what made this shirt this is so cute it's super soft I wish I hadmore shirts like this because I feel like this is the new style of tees rightnow and I'm loving it I pick this up in a size small and it was 11 euros.

andfinally I got some joggers they're both the same thingjust one’s in mustard and one’s in black.

there are pretty basic joggers they comewith the two pockets on the side and the drawstring waist line I picked them upin a size small and they were 10 euros.

moving on to Boohooa lot of these pieces are going to seem random as hell to you guys but I had aValentine's Day lookbook planned but the weather just wasn't letting me have itlike he was snowing it was just too cold and I wanted to do the video outside andI'm not trying to get sick so the video just never happened so I have a lot ofpieces from Boohoo that was supposed to be in my Valentines Day lookbook but itjust never happened the first thing I got was this Ellie oversized distresseddenim shirt.

I wore this in my spring lookbook I always wanted a distressed denim shirt so when I came across this one I just had to pick it out I pickedthis out in a size 34 and it was 24 euros.

next I got this Kelly button downdenim skirt.

I wanted to wear this in my springlookbook because I wanted to do an all yellow outfit but as you can see thisdoes not look yellow at all even though the website said it was yellow in thepicture on the website looks bright yellow this is more like a khakigreenish yellow then a bright yellow but it soft a denim skirt with a bunch ofbuttons going down the front of it.

I picked this up in the size 34 but thatwas a mistake because my bum barely fits in here I should have got a size 36 and itwas 22 euros.

so these things let me tell you about Sophie.

Sophie is a mom Jeanwith these cute little eyelets on the side like I thought this was so flywhen I saw it on the Boohoo website I picked this up in the size of 36 whichis a US size 4.

I can't fit them they don't even go over my thighs like Iunderstand I'm getting a little thick but I should be able to fit a 4 Inever tried mom jeans before and I probably won't ever try mom jeans againbecause these jeans played me.

I pick these up in the size 4 which was a hugemistake I should have got a size 6 and they were $23 next I got these a Unadogtooth trousers.

they come in this beautiful printtheyre skinny legs trousers and they're gorgeous.

they do not come with azipper they just have an elastic waistbandyou know suck you in I picked these up in a size six and they barely fit like Idon't know what's going on boohoo like they got me going crazy I know why Ididn't gain that much weight because I'm still skinny like don't get it twistedI'm still skinny they're trying to play me like I know for a fact they have thissize wrong in here a UK size 10 a u.

s.

six and a European 38 like why yougotta play me like that I picked these up in a size 6 they were $15.

so what'snext okay so I ordered a few things from my friend from high school she has anonline boutique it's called b’vogue cache and I literally want everything that shesells I'll make sure to have her IG and her website linked down below in mydescription box so please check that out here's how her Instagram page looks Ilove the fact that she has realistic women modeling her clothes like I'm nottrying to shade Fashion Nova because you know #novababe but some of themgirls I don't look like that and I know a lot of you guys don't look like thateither so I love the fact that she has everyday womenregular people modeling her clothes.

the first thing I picked up was this Tommy setit's a ribbed matching set.

The top is a short sleeve crop top with black stripes on itthis sleeves also come with these ribbons on it so you can tie them up if you wantto the bottom is just a pencil skirt with that same black striped detailing on itit also it comes with that ribbing at the bottom as well.

this set is supercomfortable and it's super stretchy which is a good thing because it'sfigure hugging I picked this up small and it was 30 dollars.

the nextmatching set I got is called Roci set.

Ir comes in this beautiful blue color thetop is just a short sleeve off-the-shoulder crop top in the bottomare just a high rise flared leg trouser lately I've been getting more intoflared leg bottoms on a matching set I don't know why but I feel like I want tobe in the 80’s so bad this set it's a super comfortable and form-fitting and becausethese trousers are high rise they make a my booty look delicious okay anythingthat's high rise and super stretchy which means is going to hug your curvesit's going to make your butt look so good I picked this up in a size smalland it was $39 I'm not gonna lie I was on the fence about getting this nextmatching set but I don't know why because when I tried it on it's freakingamazing this caged up matching set.

let me show you one piece at a time because itis black.

the name of this matching say it describes exactly what it is thisoutfit is not for the faint of heart at all it comes in this stretchy denimmaterial it has a zipper on the back to get in and out of it what I really likeabout this top is the fact that it has adjustable straps on here.

The bottoms justlook like this.

also with their same stretchy denim material and it doeshave a zipper on the back.

I will definitely be wearing this the next timeI go out.

I picked this up in a size small it was $30.

the next thing I got isthis velvet dress.

it comes in this beautiful velvet material I love thiswine color.

So it's a velvet tube dress with a gold and zipper on the back lovethat it comes with this gripper in the inside, so when you put this on youdon't have to worry about keep pulling it up when it's on.

what really made thisdress a winner was the shoulder piece like me holding it up right now doesnothing for it but when I put the shoulder piece on I was just like okay.

Idare somebody say something slick.

like I just felt regal like off with your head, off with your head, off what huh off with your head.

that's how I felt when Iput this shoulder piece on.

this dress as a whole is just gorgeous I pick this upin a size extra small which probably was a mistake because I'm not gonna be ableto fit this in a couple months because it seems like all my weight is going tolower half of me which I'm not complaining A little booty ain't neverkill nobody but I'm really sad that I picked this upin a size extra small because it's like I said I'm not gonna be able to fit itif I keep eating cheeseburgers.

it was $59 and it was worth all 59 of those dollars so thelast thing I got from her company it's this good timing high rise shorts I don'tknow how she knew I was eyeing these short but she snuck them in my order andI'm not complaining at all so they are a high rise stretchy shorts.

They come withthis crisscross detailing on the front of them which you can loosen and tightenthem up as much as you need to they also have a zipper on the back Igot them in a size small and they were $25.

So next up is Fashion Nova.

I only got four things from there which is crazy because I livein Fashion Nova, like my whole closet is fashion nova but this time aroundnothing really excited one.

anyway the first first thing I got from Fashion Nova is thisrose striped tube top.

it's just a yellow crop tubed top.

It comes with white stripes onhere and I wore this in my spring lookbook.

I picked this up in a sizesmall and it was $7.

99.

the next tube top I got is called she's a tomboy.

thisreminds me of that Tommy Hilfiger top that Aaliyah had on out I’ll inserta picture if you guys don’t know what I'm talking about.

I picked this up in a sizesmall this was also in my spring look book if you guys haven’t watch my springlookbook it will be the first link down below in my description boxit's a white red and navy tube top this is so cute I picked this up in a sizesmall and it was $17.

99 a little over price ifyou ask me but it's definitely cute so I'm not complaining.

I saw these hot pink shorts onFashion Nova and I just knew I needed them in my closet.

this color is sopretty they just comes with a tie in the front.

the back of them has an invisible zipper on here.

these are so cute Ican't wait put these on this spring like even thissummer like this color is everything its gorgeous.

I picked them up in a size small.

And itwas $29.

99.

the last thing I picked that Fashion Nova are these shoes theycome in this beautiful rose gold color I love the chunkiness of this heel.

Its super easy to walk in.

it's super stable you won't be looking like Bambi whenyou're wearing these heels because this heel has a lot of support it also has azipper on the back of it so getting in and out of these heels are super easy.

Iwon't be trying these on because I'm going to keep it all the way funky with youguys, my feet not done and I'm not gonna get on YouTube with no busty feet but Ido have a shoe haul coming up so I'll be sure to have these in that haul so youguys can see how they actually look on my feet right now it's just not gonnahappen.

I picked this up in the size 8 and they were29.

99.

so there's two more piles on the floor.

I'm almost done I'm so happybecause I didn't realize I got so much stuff.

so moving on to the things I gotfrom pretty little thing.

I'm going to start with the basics.

I got a whitev-neck bodysuit.

it's just a v-neck short sleeve bodysuit with a thong closure at the bottom.

I actually need to buy more v-neck bodysuits in different colorsbecause these things come in handy.

I pick this up in a size 6 and it was 14 euros.

The next thing I got is this cream slinky long sleeves knot front croptop.

the name of this describes exactly what it is.

I don't really like this.

thisis made out of poor material it's very see-throughI was thinking about wearing this for my all-white outfit but being that this iscream and not white it just didn't go and pick this up in a size 6 and it was 16 euro 80.

The next thing I got is a matching set but it was sold separatelyso that's how I'm going to show you.

so I picked up this tangerine square neckcrop top it's super cute I love this color on my skin tone the back of thiscrop top just has a black zipper I love that contrast against this orange it'slike a neon orange I love this color I picked this up in a size 6 but I shouldhave got a size 8 because my boobs were not having it like they were like freeme I'm trapped they wanted to pop out but yeah I picked this up in a size 6and it was 16 euro 80 and the bottoms just look like this and they’re a highrise flare legs long trouser like these trousers are so long I don't know if youguys will be able to see this but like when I was doing my lookbook you can seethe scuff marks on here from me dragging this on the ground even with heels on.

I'm not short.

I'm 5’8.

I'm pretty tall for a woman so if they'redragging on me just imagine if you're like 5’tor even 5’6 you'regonna have some trouble walking in these pants.

you can't cuff them up I guess you can always get them hemmed if you really wantto, but like buying them straight like this they're gonna be too long for youif you're shorter than me.

With that being said I love these pants.

I actuallyjust really love that matching set.

this color is everything like it's gorgeous.

Ipicked these up in a size six and they were 25 euro 20.

Next thing I got was thisa boy bye sweater.

I picked it up in this mustard color.

This sweater is so warm.

Ilove the fact that it says boy bye on here.

it tries is hardest to be a cropped sweater whichlike I don't like.

I don’t like those cropped sweaters that go in at the bottom like if you'regonna be our cropped sweater just be a cropped sweater you don't have to like hug thatpart of my body.

it's not supposed to be have a cropped sweater but on me it feelsand looks like a cropped sweater.

I should have picked it up in a medium large I didpick it up in a small medium and I can't tell you the price of this because it'ssold out now and I can't find my receipt so sorry.

The last thing that I picked up a pretty little thing it's just this black bandagefrill hem miniskirt like.

this is so cute look at the bottom of this skirtit's adorable this skirt is very form-fitting so ifyou don't like stuff being glued to your body I would tell you to size up Ipicked this up in a size 6 and it was 21 euros.

finally the last company Iordered from is shop Akira first thing I'm going to show you guysjust this red champion shirt it just has that classic champion logo on the leftside it also I have the champion C on the left arm.

I picked this up in a size small andit was 20 euros dollars it was $20 next I got these champion joggers also inred not to pair of together of coursebecause it's just too much red so it does come with that C on the leftthigh it comes with three pockets two on the hip and one on the bum theseare super comfortable and I will be wearing these a lot.

I picked these up in a sizesmall and they were $45 so I've been looking everywhere for some camo cargopants and it seems like everywhere I was looking they were sold out I bought twogot my hands on some I got these pink camouflage cargo pants these are so cuteI love the fact that they have pink and a little burgundy in these pantsI was so torn between these and the orange ones I honestly might go back andget the orange one too just because because they're so pretty and I'm alsoloving orange at the moment so these cargo pants now with four packets to atthe hip and two on the thighs it also comes with a belt that is super freakinlong I picked these out in a size small and they were $35 the last and finalthing I have to show you guys today are these saw it first combat pants andthey just look like this were these in my spring lookbook I know you'veprobably tired of me talking about that lookbook but I feel like you need to gowatch it just go watch these pants alone will make your entire outfit theyre highrise pant with two pockets there's no pockets on the bum it also came withthis belt I picked this up in a size small and they were $39.

Get Movin' Monday: Top Spring Fashion, Wedding Trends

FEATURED RIGHT HERE AT 5:40.

IT'S GETTING MOVING MONDAY.

LIVE IN STUDIO WITH US, TALKING ABOUT SOME HAIR AND MAKEUP TRENDS FOR THE SPRING AND SUMMER.

THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU FOR COMING IN.

JESSICA MAY, FOUNDER OF WAR PAINT INTERNATIONAL IS HERE ALONG WITH KATIE, DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION.

YOU GUYS ALL LOOK FABULOUS.

THANK YOU.

THANKS FOR HAVING US.

SO, FOR THIS FIRST SEGMENT, WE'RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT HAIR AND BEAUTY TRENDS FOR SPRING.

HOW HAVE THEY CHANGED A LITTLE BIT? WELL, WE WERE SEEING A LOT OF THE CRAZY INSTAGRAM, I CALL IT TIGER CONTOURING.

WE CAN THANK KIM KARDASHIAN FOR THAT.

THEY ARE OVERDONE EYEBROWS.

WE ARE SAYING HELLO TO BEAUTIFUL SKIN.

LET'S START WITH OUR FIRST MODEL, KATIE, AND TELL US WHAT WE ARE SEEING.

FIRST MODEL, WE ARE SEEING THIS BEACHY WAVE.

YOU CAN WEAR DURING THE DAY AND TRANSITION IT INTO A NIGHTTIME LOOK.

AND I ALWAYS WONDER, HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR HAIR CURLY LIKE THAT? I SEE MY HAIRDRESSER DO IT, SO FOR PEOPLE AT HOME.

IT'S REALLY JUST TAKING THE BARREL OF A CURLING IRAN AS OPPOSED TO CURLING IT.

MAKEUP, SORRY.

THIS SEASON, WE'RE SEEING A LOT OF MONO CHROMATIC.

IT'S REALLY SIMPLE AND EASY TO DO.

SIMPLE LOOKS RATHER THAN HEAVY EYES.

OKAY.

NEXT MODEL.

NEXT MODEL.

WE HAVE THE TOP KNOTT.

YOU THOUGHT IT WAS GOING SOMEWHERE.

BUT IT'S STILL HERE.

WE'RE WORKING WITH THE TOP KNOTT STILL.

OKAY.

AND THEN AGAIN WITH MAKEUP, JUST THAT STATEMENT LIP.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE FOR THE SEASON.

IT'S CALLED BLOODY GOOD.

IT'S A GREAT ONE.

ALSO, YOU NOTICE HER SKIN IS GLOWING AND SPEAKING OF GLOW, ALL OF OUR MODELS HAVE BEEN SPRAY TANNED.

NICE.

ALL RIGHT, MODEL NUMBER THREE.

MODEL NUMBER THREE IS SHOWING THAT NICE SLEEK LOOK THAT CAN TRANSITION FROM DAYTIME TONIGHT TIME.

AND THEN WE'RE STILL STICKING AROUND WITH THAT NO MAKEUP LOOK.

JUST REALLY SIMPLE, FOCUSING ON YOUR NATURAL BEAUTY AND ENHANCING WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE.

AS FAR AS EYE MAKEUP GOES.

WHEN YOU ARE PUTTING EYE MAKEUP ON, JESSICA, WHAT ARE YOU APPLYING? YOU WANT TO START WITH AN EYE SHADOW PRIMER.

PRIMER MOTION FROM URBAN DECAY IS A GREAT PRODUCT TO USE.

IT WILL HELP KEEP YOUR EYE SHADOW STAY ON ALL DAY.

AND WHAT DOES A MEMBERSHIP COST? $99 A MONTH STARTING.

AND WE HAVE MARIAH ON THE END.

SHE'S OUR MARKET MANAGER.

EVERYONE WAVE.

HI, MARIAH.

AND I DO KNOW YOU HAVE SOME EDUCATION CLASSES COMING UP.

WE ARE LAUNCHING MASTER CLASS EDUCATION WITH WAR PAINT INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY.

THOSE ARE CLASSES OFFERED TO SPRY PROFESSIONALS.

AND OUR FIRST CLASS IS JUNE 4.

GREAT.

WELL, THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU.

YOU ALL LOOK GREAT.

COMING UP IN OUR NEXT HOUR, WE'LL BE TALKING MORE ABOUT WEDDING TRENDS, WHICH I'M SURE KIM CAN APPRECIATE.

WE HAVE ONE COMING UP HERE PRETTY QUICK.

AND WHAT I'M DOING IS JUST SHOULD BE A PRETTY NICE MONDAY ON TAP.

ALI.

THANK YOU, KIM, YOU KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT THIS.

WEDDING SEASON IS COMING UP FAST, WE WANT TO GET YOU MOVING WITH GREAT BRIDAL IDEAS.

JOINING US IS JESSICA MAY, FOUNDER OF WAR PAINT INTERNATIONAL ALONG WITH HER COLLEAGUE, KATIE ROW, INCLUDING ONE BRIDE-TO-BE.

THANK YOU FOR COMING IN.

WE'RE EXCITED.

LET'S JUST START WITH THE BEAUTIFUL DRESSES WE HAVE AND WHERE DID YOU GET THESE? SO, MISS DANIELLE IS WEARING A VERA WANG.

THIS IS FROM DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS.

AND DANIELLE, WE SHOULD MENTION IS GETTING MARRIED IN DECEMBER.

SO SHE HAS LOTS OF PRACTICE TRYING ON DRESSES.

I BELIEVE SHE'S ALREADY FOUND ONE.

BUT WHAT ARE SOME TRENDS THAT WE'RE SEEING FOR MAYBE BRIDES TO BE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR SOME IDEAS? DEFINITELY.

WE WERE CHATTING ABOUT THIS, THAT WE'RE SEEING A RETURN OF CLASSIC BRIDE.

THE BIG BALLROOM GOWNS, THE TWEEN FRENCH TWISTS, THAT GLAM, THAT OLD HOLLYWOOD GLAM WITH A RED LIP AND WINGED LINER.

MORE RUSTER BARN WEDDING AS WELL.

AND KATIE, AS WE HAVE DANIELLE TAKE A STEP UP TO THE GOLD STAR, TELL US ABOUT HER HAIR.

SO, WE WENT WITH A CLASSIC FRENCH TWIST AND ALL OF OUR LOVELY MODELS HAVE BEEN STYLED WITH PUROLOGY.

THAT LITTLE DO TOOK ME 15 MINUTES.

OUR NEXT BRIDE.

SHE IS ROCKING THIS GORGEOUS HEADPIECE FROM LATILY BRIDAL, AS WELL AS JEWELERS DOWNTOWN IN MINNEAPOLIS.

ALL OF OUR BRIDES ARE WEARING BEAUTIFUL JEWELS AND A CLASSIC MERMAID STYLE WITH ALL THE BEAUTIFUL TULLE ON THE BOTTOM.

HOW LONG DID IT TAKE THE HEADPIECE? IT HAS ITS OWN CLIP ON THE BACK.

SO THERE WAS NO PINNING.

IT FITS HER HEAD PERFECTLY.

THANK YOU.

AND WE'LL MOVE ON TO OUR NEXT BRIDE.

UP NEXT, WE HAVE — THIS IS JAMIE, AND SHE IS ALSO WEARING A GOWN.

I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT AMANDA — HERE WE SEE MORE OF THAT RELAXED BEACHY, A LITTLE MORE OF THAT ORGANIC FEEL.

OKAY, AND YOU GUYS WON BEST FOUR YEARS IN A ROW IN WHAT CATEGORY? HAIR AND MAKEUP.

WE STEP UP OUR FINAL BRIDE AND MAKE SURE WE COME INTO THE LIGHT, TO THE GOLD STAR.

JUST PRACTICE YOUR RUNWAY WALK.

SO MELISSA HAS THAT BEAUTIFUL BRAID GOING ON, KIND OF THAT ELSA BRAID, IF YOU WILL, FROM FROZEN.

AND SHE'S ALSO WEARING A GOWN FROM POSH BRIDAL.

AND KATIE, WHEN YOU'RE DOING HAIR, ESPECIALLY, FOR EXAMPLE, MY BROTHER IS GETTING MARRIED THIS SUMMER AND HE HAS 13 BRIDESMAIDS IN THE WEDDING.

IS IT SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT TO GIVE EVERYONE A DIFFERENT LOOK A LITTLE BIT TO SEPARATE PEOPLE APART? A LOT OF TIMES I LEAVE THAT UP TO THE BRIDE.

AND IF SHE IS MORE OPEN TO THE IDEA, THEN YES, I GO BY WHAT THE PERSON IS AS AN INDIVIDUAL.

OKAY, THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU FOR COMING IN.

YOU ALL LOOK FABULOUS.

I'M SURE IT WASN'T EASY PUTTING.
